External Sales Rep (Technical /Fabrication)

– Boksburg

Boksburg based division of a major steel tube & piping manufacturing group requires an experienced Technical Sales person urgently.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent academic qualification
• Technical Qualification
• Have held a technical position of boilermaker, draughtsman or within the engineering discipline
• Target driven / goal orientated
• Work under pressure
• Understanding of Business strategies and the impact of achieving or underachieving sales targets
• Excellent team player
• Follow up problematic debtors (support role to Shared Services Finance) 

Responsibilities:

• An ability to seek out new marketing opportunities and clinch orders
• Interfacing with internal and external customers
• Customer calling
• Sales related administration duties
• Pro-active telephonic contact with customers to secure orders and resolve queries
• Build and maintain long lasting customer relationships
• Ensure good customer service
• Ensuring that management is kept informed of trends in the market place
